Robert A. Brvenik


Robert A. Brvenik is Principal of Paragon Outlet Partners. Previously, Brvenik was associated for 10 years with Prime Retail, where his responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer included development, leasing, asset management, capital market activities and investor relations. Previously, Brvenik served 13 years with Pyramid Management Group, Inc., where he worked in several key capacities in addition to being a liaison with several large commercial and investment banks. He has also held positions at Arthur Andersen & Co. and Citicorp. A Certified Public Accountant, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Utica College of Syracuse University.

Nicholas G. King


Nicholas G. King, a Principal of Paragon Outlets Partners, is recognized for his strategic leadership and ability to engage prominent, influential brands. From 2004 to 2010, King was Executive Vice President, Leasing and Asset Management, at Prime Retail. In 2007 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer where his responsibilities included management of Prime Retail’s leasing, marketing and center operations divisions. During his tenure, King directed the leasing organization through its five most productive years in the company’s history. In addition, he spearheaded portfolio-wide redevelopment and re-merchandising initiatives at shopping destinations including Prime Outlets – Orlando, Prime Outlets – San Marcos, and more. Prior to joining Prime Retail, King served as Senior Vice President of Leasing and Management for The Pyramid Companies. King graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

R. Kelvin Antill

Development Partner

As Development Partner, Kelvin Antill is actively involved in all aspects of Paragon Outlet Partners’ ground-up and redevelopment activities. Antill has broad experience in forging government partnerships, business relationships and orchestrating development projects throughout the United States. Prior to joining Paragon Outlets, Antill was Executive Vice President, General Counsel at Prime Retail. Earlier in his career he worked for the Baltimore law firms of Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, and Frank, Bernstein, Conway & Goldman. Antill earned his law degree from the University of Virginia and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he double-majored in economics and government and politics.

Lisa H. Kessler

Leasing Partner

Serving as Leasing Partner for Paragon Outlet Partners, Lisa Kessler plays an integral role in the planning, merchandising and leasing of all properties within the development company’s expanding value retail property portfolio. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Kessler served as Senior Vice President of Leasing at Prime Retail where she was charged with the daily oversight and management of the company’s leasing division. During her tenure, Kessler’s talent and ability to develop strong relationships with premier tenants resulted in her consistently named Prime Retail’s top leasing producer. Prior to joining Prime Retail, Kessler held leasing positions with the McArthur Glen Group and The Cordish Company. She received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a double master’s degree from the University of Maryland.

Michele Dawson

Vice President, Leasing

As Paragon Outlet Partners Vice President of Leasing, Michele Dawson is responsible for the daily management and annual growth of the company’s tenant leasing initiatives and merchandising efforts. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Dawson served more than 13 years with Prime Retail in various leasing positions with increased responsibility during her tenure. Earlier in her career, Dawson held positions with Williams Jackson Ewing where she worked on a variety of urban retail projects. Dawson earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Towson University and a master’s degree in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University.

Stephen R. Brvenik

Leasing Executive

As Leasing Executive for Paragon Outlet Partners, Stephen Brvenik contributes in all aspects of leasing, merchandising and planning for each project within the company’s development pipeline. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Brvenik served as Leasing Executive at Prime Retail where he was charged with managing accounts and relationships within its vast portfolio of retail shopping centers. Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Salem Richard LaHood | AIA

Design Partner

As a practicing architect specializing in the planning and development of retail and commercial facilities, Salem LaHood brings more than twenty-five years of multi-faceted design, construction and project management experience to Paragon Outlet Partners. In addition to providing overall design leadership, including site planning and architectural overview, LaHood is responsible for managing the tenant coordination and CADD functions of the organization. LaHood previously served as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction at Prime Retail. Earlier in his career LaHood held the position of Director of Design and Tenant Coordination at The Pyramid Companies. A registered professional architect, LaHood is the recipient of local and national design awards and is past president of the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He is a graduate of Syracuse University’s School of Architecture and studied at the Architectural Association in London England.

Paul Reed

Senior VP, Construction

A 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate construction industry specializing in outlet shopping destinations, Paul Reed serves as Senior Vice President of Construction for Paragon Outlet Partners. Reed is charged with leading construction operations for the company’s expanding outlet center portfolio. Most recently Reed held the Senior Vice President of Construction position at Prime Retail where he successfully led construction projects including industry-defining renovations and expansions in Orlando and San Marcos, TX. Earlier in his career, Reed was responsible for the successful development and construction of numerous outlet centers including San Marcos, TX, Castle Rock, CO, and many others. Reed earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston University and has pursued post-graduate work at institutions including the University of Texas; the University of California, Davis; and Texas Tech University.

Eric S. Kaline


Paragon Outlet Partners Controller Eric Kaline brings nearly 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the commercial real estate development company. Charged with the daily management of all accounting operations, he also oversees asset management, capital market and partnership activities. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Kaline served for more than 13 years in various capacities with increased responsibility for Prime Retail, ultimately promoted to its Vice President of Finance & Asset Management. Kaline, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Towson State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Tom Burnside

General Counsel

In his position as General Counsel for Paragon Outlet Partners, Tom Burnside along with his staff are responsible for performing, managing and directing all of the company’s legal work. Burnside brings more than 25 years of experience in the practice of real estate law with major law firms and real estate development and operating companies. Prior to the formation of Paragon Outlet Partners, Burnside served as Vice President and Development Counsel with Prime Retail. Burnside received his law degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he double-majored in history and philosophy. He also did extensive graduate-level course work in real estate investment at Johns Hopkins University.

Michele Mandell

Senior Counsel

As Senior Counsel for Paragon Outlet Partners, Michele Mandell is primarily responsible for the drafting and negotiation of, as well as compliance with, the company’s lease documents. Mandell is also actively engaged with the company’s leasing and development teams during all phases of project development. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Mandell served as Real Estate Counsel for Prime Retail where she was the principal negotiator of leases and agreements with anchors, big-box tenants and premier fashion retailers. Mandell has also previously worked for The Flateman Law Firm and Bondi & Iovino, Esqs., both based in the New York metropolitan area. Mandell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall College where she was a joint business administration and theater major, and her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.

Steven A. Sless

Executive VP

A 14-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Steven Sless is a member of the Paragon Outlet Partners team that is redeveloping the former Festival Bay Mall in Orlando into Artegon Orlando. Prior to joining Paragon Outlet Partners, Sless held executive leasing positions with Simon Property Group’s Premium Outlets division and Prime Retail. At Prime Retail, as senior vice president of specialty leasing, he led an unprecedented 407% increase in center income over a six year period, resulting in revenue in excess of $65 million. He also managed the investor relations and public relations departments, coordinating Prime Retail’s annual reports and shareholder meetings and acting as spokesman for the company. A native of Margate City, NJ, Sless is a graduate of Rutgers University and has held positions with Trump Gaming and Entertainment and Prudential Bache Securities.

Giancarlo Filartiga

EVP, International

Giancarlo Filartiga is responsible for all international activities at Paragon Outlets. He is an accomplished Retail Executive with over 22 years of domestic and international leadership in New Business, Joint Ventures, Strategy and the Development, Acquisition, Positioning and Management of Real Estate Assets. He has lived, worked and studied in Latin America, Europe, Japan and the US.

Prior to joining Paragon Outlets, Mr. Filartiga served as the Executive-in-Charge of Simon Property Group’s (SPG) Premium Outlets International Division. With some the most productive retail centers in the industry, Premium Outlets’ business included markets in South Korea, Japan, Malaysia (Singapore), Mexico and Brazil. Prior to SPG, Mr. Filartiga served as Senior Vice-President, Development at Prime Retail (Prime Outlets) and over an 8 year period while at The Mills, he held the position of Group Vice-President and Senior Development Director on domestic initiatives and that of Managing Director of Mills Global (MG), its international arm. MG’s primary focus was developing retail and entertainment assets in Western Europe, Canada and selective Latin American countries.

Mr. Filartiga’s career started at The Walt Disney Company, where he was part of the development of EuroDisney (now Disneyland Paris), followed by European multi-screen cinema development at Gaumont and restaurant and retail locations throughout the US and the world for Planet Hollywood. He is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Kansas State University and has participated in post-graduate and Executive Education programs such as those offered by CEFLU in Paris and The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
